Ric Wilson and Geoff Miller met each other through an Internet Discussion Board and realised
that they both shared the same passion for making money out of buying and selling
predominately penny shares. Out of this passion grew a desire to create a clean and reliable
information service to the Private Investor devoid of hidden agenda and personal abuse that
typified many other sites.
It all started as a hobby but quickly grew to proportions far beyond what Geoff and Ric
had ever contemplated with accolades rolling in from The Sunday Times and Share Magazine.
The increased activities caused by the huge growth of Fill ya Boots! proved too much for
Geoff and Ric to handle on their own. With this in mind, three avid supporters of Fill ya
Boots! were invited to join and expand the team. Our first AGM in September 2000 officially
welcomed Yvonne McGarry, Dale Sherriff and Nigel Mutter.
