City Index was awarded the title of 'Best Spread Betting Service' at the 2001 Shares UK Equity Awards last night.
The ceremony was held at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel and the Best Spread Betting Service Award was presented to Simon Mansell, City Index's Chief Operating Officer, by BBC's Juliet Morrison.
"Any award is nice to win, but we're absolutely delighted to receive the Shares UK Equity Award for Best Spread Betting Service because it was voted by those who regularly spread bet." Mansell said.
Shares readers voted for the spread betting company that demonstrated the best service aswell as the best execution. City Index scored equally highly in each category.
