Tianshan Goldfields Further Significant Mineralisation from Goldfields

AIM quoted and ASX listed Tianshan Goldfields (Ticker TGF) today released the first set of the Zone 1 infill and extension results at Balake and Jinxi prospects within the Gold Mountain Project in north west China. Key results include;
Two significant intersections over 50m downhole at shallow depth extends the Jinxi deposit to the east. Best grades yet intersected outside the “core” of Jinxi deposit.
Significant drill intersections at Jinxi include:
59.0 metres at 1.95g/t Au (including 28 metres at 2.39g/t Au & 13 metres at 2.58g/t Au) 51.0 metres at 1.07g/t Au from 33 metres(including 13 metres at 1.66g/t & 14 metres at 1.35g/t Au)
Six new “step-out” holes at Balake have, in all holes, intersected significant thickness of altered rock types typical of mineralisation in the area. Assays are awaited
Potential for mineralisation extending in a contiguous zone from Balake through Jinxi to Pond has been further strengthened by infill drilling between Balake and Jinxi.
A total of 28,093 metres (173 holes) have been completed to 26 August 2006, with 17,280 metres assayed to date.
