Rheochem Extends Santos Contract for 2 Years

Rheochem Plc (“Rheochem” or the “Company”)(AIM: RHEP) Santos Offshore Drilling Fluids Contract Extended For 2 Years
Rheochem today announces that its 100% owned subsidiary Rheochem Ltd has extended its current contract to supply drilling fluids and related services to Santos Ltd offshore Australia for a further two year period ending 31st December 2008. The contract extension allowed for a variance in scheduled rates to reflect significant pricing changes over the past three years. Santos is Australia’s third largest oil & gas producer.
Rheochem Ltd has a current contract to supply drilling fluids and related engineering services to Santos onshore operations which is valid until May 2008. The Company also announced earlier this year the renewal of contracts with both New Zealand clients, Mighty River Power and Contact Energy.
