Hi I have been away for a while and just wondered if anyone had any good ticker codes to watch. With the looming shell situation best to probably avoid them... but any interesting shares that maybe worth a look might be helpful. Not the ones that are already here on the posts but new shares that may or may not spark into life... Thanks..

Hi pm,
You seem a bit frustrated!
I've just put an 'off topic' note on page 50 of the Ovoca Gold (OVG) thread re Latitude Resources which might help you. Like most penny shares it is high risk so please DYOR. Oh and you might want to check out OVG while you are there!
Good luck!

not frustrated but find it a long way from filling boots of old. The main advantage of BBs is to keep one step ahead of the herd but the shares discussed here are bled to death. some new blood/ideas are always.. caveat of course and half the fun is looking at how bad they are.. I will look at those two thanks..

A good idea for a thread, and I agree, most BB's are full of threads discussing shares that have been thrashed to death, and the most posted to threads are mainly for companies where investors are losing money.
A couple of small stocks worth looking at IMO (I hold both!) are Galantas Gold, GAL : AIM, and Concorde Oil and Gas, CDE : OFEX, soon to move to AIM.
Galantas are due to start production at their Northern Irish mine during Q2, and estimated production costs are less than $150, and the current gold price is around $600!
Annual production of 30,000 ozs planned to start.
Concorde oil nad GAs are concuding a deal to buy Pechora Energy, Russia, and transfer to AIM.
Completion due within Q2.

I recently (today) got into IDN, trading at 2.2p mid, but only paid 2.19. I reckon there is a good profit to be made here, with very limited downside, and a dividend. There are currently rumours about IDN being a possible takeover target, but like most rumours, these should be taken with a pinch of salt until something is confirmed.
